Texan supporters, save the date: Sept. 16

The fourth annual awards event and gathering of Friends of The Daily Texan has been scheduled for Friday, Sept. 16. Hall of Fame deadline Sept. 9

The Friends of The Daily Texan remind Texan supporters that nominations for the 2015 Daily Texan Hall of Fame awards must be submitted by Sept. 9. These awards recognize Daily Texan alumni who have led distinguished careers and individuals who have demonstrated support for The Daily Texan. As part of a weekend celebrating The Daily Texan — past, present and future — the Friends of The Daily Texan will host a day of mentorship and networking in The Daily Texan’s basement offices on Friday, Nov. 8. Current Texan staffers and other interested UT students are welcome to sign up for one-on-one meetings with 17 distinguished alumni.
